Meet our Team
At Halton Hills Nature Immersion School, we design our programs for children to explore various subject-specific concepts, where the learning experience is achieved in and through nature. Children participate in literacy programs, STEM lessons (messy & hands on) science experiments, creative art expressions, bush-craft activities, team building games, play-based learning, and child-led exploration of the environment.

All of our programs aim to deepen bonds with nature and with one another in support of health and the balanced self; (emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing.

Located on Third Line in Halton Hills, nestled within a forest at the back of beautiful farm fields on a private 100 acre property. Halton Hill Nature Immersion School offers a safe, authentic outdoor experience curated by earth loving educators.

Natalie is a homeschooling momma of 4, a believer in living as holistically, organically, & outside in nature as possible. She thrives on bringing like-minded families together & growing the homeschooling community full of kind and loving children. She strongly believes in the innate human connection to our natural world. Call it God, Mother Nature or Earth Mother; when we practice mindfulness within nature, it helps us to feel at peace and it brings happiness, harmony & healing into our lives. While technology and academics all have their place, it is essential that we get our children outside. The benefits of time spent connecting with nature, are just too great to ignore.
~ Natalie Wooddisse
"Our challenge isn't so much to teach children about the natural world, but to find ways to sustain the instinctive connections they already carry". -TK
